The 5AM Club App is a habit-building wellness platform inspired by Robin Sharma’s bestselling book. Designed to guide users through a structured 66-day morning routine, the app encourages physical activity, mindfulness, and learning — all before 6:00 AM.

This project transforms a powerful concept into a playful and supportive digital experience, helping users build life-changing habits with guidance, motivation, and clarity.

About the Book

The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma is a practical self-help book that introduces a life-changing method based on early rising and owning the first hour of the day.

At the heart of the method is the Victory Hour — a 60-minute morning routine divided into three 20-minute blocks:
Movephysical activity to boost energy and release positive hormones
Reflectjournaling or meditation to cultivate calm and clarity
Growlearning and personal development to drive ongoing growth

Users Survey

I conducted a survey with 30 potential users, and here are the main findings:

Users want to improve and change their life regarding a few aspects of their life such as family, health and hobbies.

But it is challenging to sleep and wake up early because of old habits. The apps they use don’t help them to break these habits.

The User

The app is designed for people who feel the need to make a change in their lifestyle — seeking more balance, energy, and control over their day. It supports those who want to wake up with purpose, improve their routines, and prioritize personal well-being in a demanding daily schedule.

For the context of the project this is the potential persona:

Dana, 35

Dana Lives in central Tel Aviv with husband and kids. She works as a marketing manager in a tech company—a job she loves, but one that comes with significant stress and demands.

Between work, Dana takes care of her kids, and managing the household.
She hardly has any time for herself, and she feels tired throughout the day, struggles to sleep at night; she often experiences stress and even moments of anxiety.

Dana wants to regain control over her time and energy. She dreams of a healthy, balanced routine that allows her to wake up refreshed, freeing time for exercise, hobbies she enjoys, self development, and reduce the stress levels in her life.

Initial Sketches

Analyzing my users there goals, the architecture, and the user’s interaction with the system, I worked on making informed decisions on how to design “The 5 AM Club” screens by sketching wireframes.

Visual Design

The goal is to create an experiential design that will keep the user motivated over time, clean and simple.
The challenge was to find the right balance between the amount/intensity of the experiential elements, while still keeping the clean and simple, and make sure the design is not too overwhelming.

Onboarding flow

Introduces the user the 5 AM Club, its method and benefits. It creates motivation and prepares him for his journey. And transfers it to the introduction questionnaire screen. The questionnaire helps the app understand the user habits and challenges, allowing it to tailor recommendations that fit his lifestyle. By answering a few simple questions.
